Eyewear

Glasses fitted to your face and your day

Frames chosen with you, lenses made to your prescription and adjustments whenever you stop by.

Bring your prescription from us or from any other office. We fit glasses to it, and we explain the lens choices in plain words.

What to bring

  • Your current glasses

  • Your prescription, if it is from another office

  • Your vision plan card, if you have one

What happens at the visit

Most fittings take under an hour.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Choosing frames

We help you pick shapes and materials that suit your face, your prescription and your day.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Measurements

We measure where your eyes sit behind the frame so the lenses line up.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Lens choices

We explain the options, such as lens materials and coatings, and which ones matter for how you use your glasses.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Pick-up and adjustment

When your glasses are ready we adjust them to sit right. Come back any time for a tune-up or a repair.

How it is billed

  • Your vision plan

Many vision plans include an allowance toward frames and lenses. We check yours before you choose.

    How fees work
  • Your medical insurance

Glasses are not usually billed to medical insurance, apart from some special cases the front desk can explain.

  • If you pay yourself

If you pay yourself, the front desk gives you the cost of the frames and lenses before the order is placed.

Your prescription is yours

We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere. You never have to buy from us to get it.
