Wilbert Yarborough
Founder, greeting patients at the front desk
Mr. Yarborough opened the practice in 1974. He still stops by to greet the families he has known longest.
Family eye care in Pooler
Two optometrists from the same family, a front desk that learns your name, and an optical where your glasses are fitted to you.

From our founder
When I opened this office in 1974, it was one exam room and a rack of frames, and the people who came through the door were our neighbors. I made one promise then that we still keep: we tell you what we see, in words you can use, and you decide what comes next.
My daughter Bonita came home to work beside me, and now her son Elijah sees patients in the same rooms. Some of you were examined by me, and your children by Bonita. It pleases me to think of your grandchildren in those chairs.
Come in when it is time. We will take it from there.

Our family
Wilbert opened the door. His daughter and his grandson now see patients in the same rooms, and the whole family is here to meet you.

What we do
One office for exams, glasses and contact lenses. Each visit is billed to the plan that pays for it, and we explain how before you pay.

A full check of how you see and how healthy your eyes are, for adults and for children old enough to follow along.
About eye exams
Frames chosen and fitted with you, lenses made to your prescription, and adjustments and repairs whenever you stop by.
About eyewear
An exam and a fitting, trial lenses to wear before you decide, and a follow-up visit.
About contact lenses
Red or irritated eyes, something in the eye, and checks on eye disease. When it cannot wait, call us.
